Pulwama, March 10: The District Pulwama Ball Badminton Association, in collaboration with the J&K Ball Badminton Association, is all set to host the District Pulwama Ball Badminton Championship 2024-25 for boys and girls. The much-anticipated two-day tournament will take place on March 12 and 13 at Playfield Ground, Bajwani Tral, Pulwama, under the sponsorship of the J&K Sports Council.
The championship aims to promote Ball Badminton at the grassroots level and provide a competitive platform for young talents to showcase their skills. Matches will be conducted in accordance with the official regulations of the Ball Badminton Federation of India (BBFI), ensuring a fair and high-standard competition.
All affiliated clubs, schools, colleges, and institutes from Pulwama are encouraged to participate. Players interested in competing must submit their entries by March 12, 2025, via WhatsApp or SMS at 9682392137. Required documents include a photocopy of Aadhaar card and two passport-sized photographs. On-spot registrations will not be accepted.
Top-performing players from the championship will earn a chance to represent Pulwama at the UT-level tournament, making this an exciting opportunity for emerging athletes to take their game to the next level.
