Rahul Gandhi Slams BJP Over Exam Paper Leaks, Calls for Unified Action to Protect Students’ Future

New Delhi – Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi has sharply criticized the BJP government over the recurring issue of examination paper leaks, calling it a “systematic failure” that threatens the future of 85 lakh students across six states.

In a strong-worded statement, the former Congress president described paper leaks as the most dangerous “padmavyuh”—a complex trap—for the youth, placing their hard work and future at severe risk. He urged all political parties and governments to set aside their differences and take collective, stringent action to eliminate this crisis.

“Paper leaks throw hardworking students and their families into deep uncertainty and stress, robbing them of the rewards of their dedication. Worse, it sends a dangerous message to the next generation—that dishonesty can triumph over hard work. This is completely unacceptable,” Gandhi wrote on X in Hindi.

Referring to the recent NEET paper leak scandal, he pointed out that despite nationwide protests, the Modi government’s response—a new law—has proven ineffective, as fresh leaks continue to surface.

“This is not an isolated incident but a systematic failure,” Gandhi stressed. “The dignity of these exams is the right of our children, and we must protect it at all costs.”

He drew attention to his “chakravyuh” metaphor, which he first used last year to describe an alleged atmosphere of fear gripping the nation. He reiterated that a select few have trapped the country in a deceptive web, which the INDIA bloc is determined to dismantle.

As calls for accountability grow louder, Gandhi’s remarks amplify the urgent need for reform in India’s examination system to restore trust and fairness for millions of students.
