WASHINGTON, March 12 – Former U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed on Tuesday that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is welcome to visit the White House again, following high-level discussions between U.S. and Ukrainian officials in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
“Sure, absolutely,” Trump told reporters when asked whether Zelenskyy would receive another invitation to Washington.
The diplomatic talks in Jeddah covered critical issues, including a potential agreement on rare earth minerals and possible steps toward ending the ongoing conflict with Russia. Following the meeting, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced a significant development—Ukraine has agreed to a 30-day ceasefire aimed at laying the groundwork for broader peace negotiations.
The decision marks a pivotal moment in efforts to ease tensions in the region, with both nations signaling a commitment to diplomatic solutions.
